First day back in college.

Happiness is what floods through me. Gone are days of blistering myself with the boredom of my bedroom. I am back in Kuala Lumpur, where long walks will take place and friends will be made and met.

This coming week is orientation so I can still rest my mind before I put down to the grinder and start learning and studying and revising. I’m actually really glad for this. My mind wasn’t made for laziness. It was made to be sculpted and shaped by knowledge. It was made to be challenged by nigh on impossible feats of memorisation. It was made to soar, not crawl in a bed and die.

Finally, finally, it will be able to do just that.

On another note, upon checking into my hostel, I found the the remnants of my room’s last occupant’s stay. There were cards (four Jokers, sorry DC) and a pair of sunglasses, Vitamin C (still half-full, by the way), paracetamol, and a very full bottle of hand sanitizer. Note that I have it on good authority that this was the same guy who wrecked the ceiling fan on purpose.

I am just as confused as you are.

Anyway, cheers!

— Randy.
